Trace Adkins Loses Home in Fire

Country star Trace Adkins' Brentwood, Tenn. home went up in flames earlier this afternoon while his youngest daughters were home.

The singer and wife Rhonda's three girls -- Mackenzie, Brianna, and Trinity -- were at home with a babysitter and a neighbor's daughter when the fire started. All of them escaped the house uninjured, along with their pets. Rhonda attributes their safe exit to the alertness of the babysitter and the fact that the family had an emergency exit plan, which taught the daughters to run to a particular tree in case of any disaster.
