Jennifer Lopez Offered Staggering Sum to Return as 'American Idol' Judge

Jennifer Lopez continued to keep fans in limbo about whether or not she will return to the judges panel for the next season of 'American Idol' in an interview on 'Alan Carr: Chatty Man' on Friday night (June 17).

The British comic/TV host was sure to ask J.Lo the question that everyone's been asking since the popular 'Idol' judge suggested she was on the fence about returning for a second season. "You've only signed up for one season, but apparently they've offered you $20 million to go back," Carr pointed out. Jennifer responded, "They did? Well, I better get on the phone then. That sounds pretty good!"

Lopez fueled speculation that she was done with her stint on 'Idol' after just one season on the hit show when she started shopping around her own reality singing competition show for future Latin American stars.
