Mathew Knowles Claims Beyoncé Fired Him Over False Theft Accusations

Looks like the end of Beyoncé and her father Mathew Knowles‘ professional relationship wasn’t as mutual as he once claimed it was.
In legal papers released by TMZ, Mathew claims he was fired by his Grammy-winning eldest daughter after she was led to believe he was stealing money from her; an accusation he denies.
According to the papers, concert giant Live Nation told Beyoncé that Mathew helped himself to money he wasn’t entitled to from her most recent tour. An audit conducted at Beyoncé’s request concluded Mathew had indeed made off with unearned money, then he was fired.
Mathew is now trying to clear his name and wants several Live Nation employees to explain just how the conclusion that he was stealing was reached because he insists it’s not true.
When Beyoncé announced she was be parting ways with her father, she said, “I’ve only parted ways with my father on a business level. He is my father for life and I love my dad dearly. I am grateful for everything he has taught me.”
That seems to be true. Beyoncé and Mathew both spoke very highly of each other at the Billboard Music Awards in May, where Beyoncé was being honored with the Millennium Award.
