A gospel cover of Eminem's "Lose Yourself" by the Selected of God choir makes its Billboard chart debut this week as it enters at No. 14 on Gospel Digital Songs.

The chart ranks the highest-selling gospel singles of the week and is viewable on billboard.biz. The new "Lose Yourself" sold about 1,000 downloads last week according to Nielsen SoundScan.

It's the first chart appearance for the Detroit ensemble, which is affiliated with Praise Tabernacle in Grosse Pointe, Mich. Selected of God gained national attention after appearing in Chrysler's Super Bowl commercial featuring Eminem. The two-minute-long clip premiered during Fox's broadcast of the Jan. 19 National Football League championship game.

In the spot, the choir accompanies an instrumental version of "Lose Yourself," which scores the clip. So far, the official Chrysler-uploaded clip has been viewed more that 12 million times.

Chrysler and Eight Mile Style LLC, the publisher of Eminem's compositions, teamed to release the new version of "Lose Yourself." Chrysler also produced a new music video for the track which was filmed in Detroit and uses some of the footage seen in the Super Bowl ad.

Eight Mile Style will donate all of its proceeds from the sale of the new "Lose Yourself" to Detroit-based charities: Abayomi Community Development Corporation, the Yuinon and the Robert S. Shumake Foundation.

The original version of "Lose Yourself," written by Eminem, Jeff Bass and Luis Resto, spent 12 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. It also won the three writers the 2007 Academy Award for best original song.
