Marc Broussard Shows the Pitfalls of Love in 'Cruel' -- Video Premiere

Louisiana songwriter Marc Broussard has been serving up great pop songs for a while now, and his fourth self-titled full-length is sure to grab your attention with its great hooks and the undeniably catchy lyrics of the new single 'Cruel.'

With a driving beat, uplifting strings and Marc's signature crooner style, 'Cruel' stands alone as a sun-soaked hit about the pitfalls of love. The song's accompanying video illustrates that theme so well with a recently dumped dude ready to get back into the saddle of dating.

But when he meets the new blonde bombshell neighbor across the hall, things start getting difficult and the game of love turns into a confusing but ultimately hilarious happy ending.

"The directors Joey and Paul [Boukadakis] started the whole day out on a good foot with a box of gifts for my brand-new baby girl," Marc tells AOL Music of the video shoot.

"I'm usually not a fan of video shoots, but this one was one of my favorites. My favorite moment on the set was when the Joey and Paul were eyeballing me like a piece of meat in my dressing room, only to tell me that what I was planning on wearing for the video shoot was PERFECT."
