With a powerful roster that included Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, and Chris Brown, hip-hop reigned supreme at 'Summer Jam 2011' last night, June 5. Before the main event, Big K.R.I.T., Big Sean, Pusha T and Ace Hood hit the stage to warm up the crowd.

Hot 97's annual event had hits and a few misses this year, from Brown's flawless choreography and wooing - a hit - to Waka Flocka Flame forgetting a few bars from his club hits - a miss. Check out the highlights, hits and misses of the night.

HITS

Wiz Khalifa

As the show's opening act, Wiz was impressive. His energy, stage presence, and a few unexpected dance moves (choreography not included) set a positive tone for the night. Wiz performed his singles "Roll Up," "On My Level," and closed his set with his catchy hometown anthem "Black and Yellow." Is Wiz Khalifa's future bright? Absolutely.

Fabolous

Fabolous came strong with a live band behind him and a spiffy bow tie. He relied heavily on songs from his more mature and latest mixtape, "The S.O.U.L. Tape." He started off with "Body Ya," brought out Ryan Leslie for "Everything, Everyday, Everywhere" and a ladies favorite, "You Be Killin' Em."

Chris Brown

Flawless choreography and passion made Chris Brown's performance the best of the night. Had another lead R&B artist been present their performance would have been forgotten. Brown showed off his dance skills in "I Can Transform Ya" and "She Ain't You."

Minutes later Breezy turned up the heat when he teased a fan with a lap dance to "Take You Down." Tyga and Kevin McCall joined Breezy onstage for "Deuces." Big Sean came up to perform his single "My Last" again, with Brown at this side this time. Breezy finished off his set with his Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Songs hit, "Look At Me Now" with Busta Rhymes but no Lil Wayne. A 30 minutes set wasn't enough.

Lil Wayne

Lil Wayne isn't just a rapper. He's a rockstar. When Weezy hits the stage all bases are covered and demands the audience's full attention. "A Milli" was the warm-up, while "Bed Rock" gave all of Young Money's members a chance to shine. A performance of his third, most recent single, "How To Love" let people know that Drake isn't the only Young Money member that can sing.

Screams resonated throughout the stadium the second that Drizzy Drake's voice was heard for "Miss Me." DJ Khaled and Rick Ross joined Drizzy and Weezy to perform Khaled's third top ten hit on the R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, "I'm On One. "

Rick Ross

A shirtless Rick Ross shared his stage for the majority of his set. He performed "8 Ball" with Weezy then threw it back to his anthems from last summer, "MC Hammer"and "BMF." Ace Hood, Wale, Meek Mill, and Jadakiss joined Ross, but the energy went to the next level when Diddy hit the stage. The duo solely performed "O Let's Do It" Remix and "All I Do Is Win." Rick Ross came, conquered and left zero room for people to doubt why he's the bawse.
