JoJo Is Looking For A “Guardian Angel” On New Track

JoJo was all sass and beats on “Sucks To Be You”, her collab with DJ Clinton Sparks and partymongers LMFAO, but the singer searches for something a bit more meaningful on “Guardian Angel.” On the midtempo tune from her third studio album Jumping Trains (dropping this Fall), the Jill Scott supporter belts out a request for someone to watch over her. JoJo’s emotion is in the right place, but all in all, it’s pretty bland, and not much single material (we hope not, anyway). Since “The Other Chick” was crossed off the list as a potential nominee to be her LP’s lead single, we’ll have to keep on waiting.
