Lady Gaga Wants to Be a Minister to Marry Gay Friends

Lady Gaga wants to become ordained as a minister so she can marry her lesbian friends, now that same-sex marriage is legal in New York City.

Gaga -- a long time civil rights and marriage equality enthusiast -- tells the Daily Mirror: "My yoga instructor Trisha, a lesbian, has lived with her partner for years now and they have a beautiful daughter. They asked me to marry them. So, yes. I'm going to do it..."

Lady Gaga added: "As an activist, it's always about being positive and honoring and being excited about the small steps we're taking towards equality."

The happy couple is planning on private ceremony and, surely, the aspiring Reverend Gaga is planning on wearing an appropriately festive get-up. WWLDW?
